This policy explains how personal information is handled on this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
This website promotes a competition to win a brand-new Volkswagen Golf 8 GTI, drawn live on Saturday, 3 October 2026.
2. You do not enter on this website
When you tap “Spin for the GTI”, you are taken to our official partner Betify, a South African operator licensed by the Eastern Cape Gambling Board under Bookmaker Licence ECBM 032.
Your entry, your account and your payment all happen on Betify’s website. Betify’s own privacy policy applies to the information you give them. No payment or card details are collected or held on this website.

If you contact us, we collect the details you send, such as your name, email address and phone number.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, the following may be collected:
- your IP address and approximate location (city or province level)
- your device type, operating system and browser
- which pages and sections you viewed, and which buttons you tapped
- the ad, post or link that brought you here
- cookie and similar identifiers
Information from partners
Campaign performance data may be received from Betify, FKN, Base Pulse and advertising platforms, such as how many people who clicked through went on to enter. This is generally aggregated and does not identify you.
If you win, the details needed to confirm you are eligible and to hand over the prize will be collected.
No special personal information, such as health or religious information, is collected.
4. Why it is used
Personal information is used to:
- run the competition, confirm entrants are eligible, and award the prize
- answer questions you send us
- measure how this website and our advertising perform
- prevent fraud, bot entries and abuse
- keep records of the competition
- send you marketing about this or future campaigns, but only if you have opted in
Personal information is not sold.
5. Who it is shared with
Information is shared only where necessary, with:
- Betify, our official entry and payment partner
- FKN and Base Pulse, campaign and live-draw partners
- the independent party overseeing the draw
- service providers who work on our behalf, such as website hosting, email, analytics and advertising platforms
- DJ Speedsta and his representatives, where needed to run the campaign or hand over the prize
- regulators, law enforcement or legal advisers, where the law requires it
Service providers may process the information only on our instruction and must keep it secure.
6. Information sent outside South Africa
Some service providers, such as hosting, email and analytics platforms, store data on servers outside South Africa. Where this happens, reasonable steps are taken to make sure the recipient is subject to protection substantially similar to POPIA, as section 72 of POPIA requires.
7. How long it is kept
Competition records are kept for three years after the draw.
Everything else is kept only for as long as there is a lawful reason to keep it, and is then deleted or de-identified.

This competition is strictly for persons 18 years and older. No persons under the age of 18 years are permitted to gamble.
Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If it is collected in error, it will be deleted.
11. Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- ask what personal information is held about you and request a copy
- have information corrected or deleted if it is wrong, out of date, excessive or unlawfully obtained
- object to your information being used
- withdraw your consent at any time, including for marketing
- unsubscribe from any marketing message using the link in it
- complain to us or to the Information Regulator
