1. About this competition
DJ Speedsta, in association with Betify, FKN and Base Pulse, is giving away one brand-new Volkswagen Golf 8 GTI to one winner.
Entries are placed through Betify, a South African operator licensed by the Eastern Cape Gambling Board under Bookmaker Licence ECBM 032.
These rules were prepared before the competition opened and are available free of charge on this website.
2. Agreeing to these rules
By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Your entry is completed on Betify’s website, so Betify’s own terms and conditions and privacy policy also apply to you. Those are separate documents on Betify’s site. Read them before you enter.
3. Who can enter
You may enter if you are:
- 18 years of age or older; and
- resident in South Africa.
You may not enter if you are involved in running this competition, or if you are an immediate family member of someone who is. This includes the organisers, Betify, FKN and Base Pulse.
Proof of identity, age and residence may be required before the prize is awarded.
4. Closing date
The competition closes on Saturday, 3 October 2026, and the draw takes place the same day.
The closing date and draw date are fixed. There are no extensions and no rollovers. Entries received after the closing time are not valid.
5. How to enter
Choose a spin package on this website:

You are then taken to Betify to place your spins. You need a Betify account, and you must meet Betify’s registration, age-verification and payment requirements.
Each spin awards a number of entries into the draw, up to a maximum of 3 per spin. The number of entries a spin awards is decided by the outcome of that spin and is not guaranteed. The figures above are a maximum, not a promise.
All payments are handled by Betify.
6. The prize
The prize is one brand-new Volkswagen Golf 8 GTI with a full VW warranty, retail value R850,000.
The prize is the specific vehicle shown on this website.
The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Running costs, insurance and any other ongoing costs are the winner’s responsibility. Any tax arising from the prize is the winner’s responsibility.
The winner must sign the standard prize acceptance documents before the vehicle is handed over.
If the exact vehicle becomes unavailable for reasons outside the organisers’ control, a vehicle of the same or greater value may be substituted.
7. The draw
The winner is drawn at random from all valid entries.
The draw takes place live on Saturday, 3 October 2026, streamed on Base Pulse and hosted on camera by DJ Speedsta.
The draw is overseen independently. The result is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The draw goes ahead on 3 October regardless of how many entries are received. There is no minimum number of entries and no rollover.
8. Claiming the prize
The winner is contacted on the phone number and email address linked to their entry, within a reasonable time after the draw.
Reasonable attempts will be made to reach the winner. If the winner cannot be reached, does not respond, cannot prove they are eligible, or declines the prize, another winner may be drawn on the same basis.
9. Publicity
The winner may be asked to take part in publicity, including photographs, video and social media content.
The winner is entitled to decline to take part in any publicity, and declining does not affect their right to the prize.
10. Responsible gambling
No persons under the age of 18 years are permitted to gamble.

11. Your personal information
Personal information collected for this competition is handled in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 and the privacy policy published on this website.
By entering, you agree that your information may be shared between the organisers, Betify, FKN, Base Pulse and the person overseeing the draw, so the competition can be run and the prize awarded.
If you win, you agree that your first name, surname initial and province may be announced publicly.
12. General
The organisers are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not received, for any reason, including network, device or third-party platform failure.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the organisers, DJ Speedsta, Betify, FKN and Base Pulse are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense arising from taking part in this competition or from accepting or using the prize. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act.
Any entrant reasonably believed to have tampered with the entry process, used bots or automated entry, given false information, or broken these rules or Betify’s terms may be disqualified.
These rules may be amended, or the competition suspended or cancelled, if required by law, by a regulator, or by circumstances outside the organisers’ reasonable control. Any change will be published on this website.
If any part of these rules is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
These rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
A copy of these rules is kept for three years and is available free of charge on request.
